Explosives-packed vehicle seized near Durand Line

SHARAN (Pajhwok): Security forces in southeastern Paktika province have seized an explosives-laden vehicle, a police official said on Thursday.

Mir Alam, border police commander in the province, told Pajhwok Afghan News the security personnel captured the explosives-packed Hino truck in the Angor Ada area of Barmal district.

According to him, the explosives hidden under wood and had been brought from Pakistan and the driver wanted to transfer it to other provinces of the country.

Raz Mohammad, another border police official, confirmed the seizure of 750 kilograms of potassium and 1,350 kilograms of ammonium nitrate from the vehicle.
