KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan recorded 19 new positive coronavirus cases and one death in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Monday.
According to the ministry’s statement a total of 205 suspected cases brought to different laboratories for test in which 19 were positive taking the total number of positive cases in the country to 155,093.
Amongst the fresh cases Kandahar registered nine cases, Zabul five, Nimroz and Nangarhar two and one in Badakhshan province.
One person died from the respiratory disease in the past 24 hours taking the total number of fatalities to 7,201.
