KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kabul Municipality has warned butchers against slaughtering animals on roadside, bridges, footpaths and other public places.
“Kabul Municipality again informs botchers who slaughter animals in public places of legal action and penalty,” according to a statement from municipality.
It said slaughtering animals in public places was against municipal laws and individual polluting environment through this practice will be punished.
Azizullah, a resident of Kabul’s 15th police district, said botchers in their area and other parts of the city slaughtered animals in public places and this practice polluted the environment.
He hailed Municipality warning in this regard and said slaughtering animals in public places caused spread of diseases and polluted the environment.
