KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan recorded 30 new coronavirus cases and one death in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Saturday.
Public Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Javid Hazeez told Pajhwok Afghan News total 538 suspected cases were brought to different laboratories for tests out of which 30 were positive.
Of the new cases, 13 registered in Ghazni, 7 in Badakhshan, five in Farah, three in Laghman and one each in Takhar and Paktia provinces.
One critical coronavirus patient died during the past 24 hours, he added.
