GHAZNI (Pajhwok): Acting Minister of Vice and Virtue Sheikh Mohammad Khalid Hanafi on Saturday they would not change their decisions despite international pressure  and also called on the international community not to interfere in their affairs .

Hanafi, who arrived in southern Ghazni province, addressed a gathering of provincial officials, religious scholars and tribal elders.

Hanafi said the Islamic Emirate blessed with God’s help defeated the world’s superpowers in the 20-year war, and now the Ministry of Vice and Virtue had an important role for the sustainability of this system.

“But some selfish people inside the country are saying bad things about the ministry on the orders of others. it means saying bad things about the holy Quran.”

He asserted every person working in the frameworks or institutions of the Islamic Emirate if not attired in Islamic get-up and dress would not be biometric for future and would be removed from jobs.

He said: “If there is no propagation of virtue and prevention of vice in a region, then it is impossible to establish a pure Islamic system in the same region. ”

He also asked Ghazni government officials to reform their ranks, refrain from recruiting young people in the Islamic Emirate forces, and not to commit corruption and observe all the principles of Sharia and refrain from obscenity.

Hanafi said the current government, especially the Ministry of Vice and Virtue, despite international pressure, would not backtrack on their decisions and called on the international community to stop interfering in the affairs of the Islamic Emirate.

He also criticized the US and their allies for interfering in Afghanistan’s internal affairs. He also explained that during the previous regime, 99 percent of women wore hijab, but now it had reached 100 percent.

During the meeting, he asked the people to continue their cooperation with the Taliban government as in the past. “So that we can have a good and stable Islamic government”.
