CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Flash floods have damaged tens of homes, hundreds of acres of agricultural land and tens of livestock in the Tagab district of central Kapesa province, an official said on Friday.
Police Spokesperson Abdul Fatah Faez told Pajhwok Afghan News flash floods were triggered in the Landakhel, Joybar, and Jalokhel areas on Thursday night.
Baryalai, a resident of Landakhel area in Tagab district, said flash floods triggered in the same areas of Tagab district at around 4:50 am. All linking roads to the district were shut by flood, he added.
He said district officials took steps to provide relief to the affected persons and open the closed roads.
