KABUL (Pajhwok): The 10th Herat Security Dialogue will kick off in Tajikistan, the Afghanistan Institute of Strategic Studies (AISS) said on Monday.
On its Twitter handle the AISS wrote the 10th Herat Security Talks will begin in Dushanbe on November 29-30.
Based on the approach of previous years, experts and representatives of all groups and countries involved and interested in the Afghanistan conflict will be invited to the conference this year
The source said: “The main goal of the series of Herat security conferences is to create a space for dialogue in order to create a better understanding of the main causes of the 50-year-old conflict in Afghanistan, and efforts are made to create an intellectual consensus among scientists, policy makers of the country, the region and the extra region.”
“At the Herat security meeting, representatives from various Asian countries are expected to discuss the security situation in Afghanistan and the region, state formation and legislation, social movements and the role of the United Nations.”
Acting Afghan government has not spoken about Herat Security Meeting.
