Kabul municipality collects 1,500 tons of expired items

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kabul Municipality has collected 1,500 tons of expired food and healthcare items in Kabul.

The municipality in a statement said these items were collected from shops, supermarkets and warehouses in the first police district and transferred to a special place for disposal.

The expired items included all kinds of soft drinks, biscuits, chocolate, sour cream, milk, canned food, shampoo and soaps.

The shopkeepers and supermarkets were advised to refrain from selling expired materials and  observe the principles and regulations.
