ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Four tankers of substandard fuel have been sent back to Iran from northwestern Nimroz province, says the Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA).
Matiullah Sabir, an official of ANSA in Nimroz, told Pajhwok Afghan News that four tankers (89,330) of low-quality fuel denied entry into the country and sent back to Iran.
The source said the imported fuel did not meet the required standards and was sent back to the neighbouring country.
In an attempt to block low-quality fuel imports into the country, ANSA has returned hundreds of tankers to Iran in recent months.
