KABUL (Pajhwok): The Traffic Department says the registration period for right-hand drive vehicles has been extended once again until August 12.
The General Department of Traffic tweeted the registration period for right-hand or one-key vehicles has been extended till August 12 this year.
Owners of such cars were informed that it was the last chance to register their vehicles in their respective provinces.
According to the source, if someone’s car remains unregistered after the specified period, they would be dealt with legally according to the procedure approved by the cabinet.
It said this process had been extended again for two months, all owners of such kind of cars were being informed that this time not all people in Kabul could register their cars.
The statement said: “Only those mujahideen who have the identity card of the Islamic Emirate institutions and those who have previously completed the other stages of their documents in Kabul in the three-month registration process and only registration remains. They can register their vehicles in Kabul province until the arrival of Eidul-Adha.”
According to the source, this process is closed for everyone after Eid and no one has the right to complain, but in all other provinces this process will continue until August 12.
According to the Traffic Department, about 210,000 vehicles have been registered earlier.
