Qatar, Iran discuss efforts to support stability in Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): Senior Qatari and Iranian officials have discussed efforts to support stability in Afghanistan besides several other issues during a meeting in Doha.

The Qatari Foreign Ministry in a statement said Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani held talks with Iranian foreign minister Hossien Amir Abdullahian.

Both sides discussed several issues, especially efforts to support stability in Afghanistan.

They also talked about enhanced cooperation in areas of economy, investment and intra-trade and latest developments in the nuclear agreement.
