Shahidkhel named deputy minister of vice & virtue

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two new appointments have been made to the Ministry of Vice and Virtue (MoVV), and the Ministry of Defence by the caretaker government.

Maulvi Syed Ahmad Shahidkhel has been named as deputy military minister of vice and virtue and Maulvi Abdul Rahman Munir as head of MoD’s religious and cultural affairs.

These appointments have been made in compliance with orders from the Islamic Emirate leadership.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the government spokesman, tweeted that the appointments had been made in line with a decree from IEA Supreme Leader Maulvi Haibatullah Akhundzada.

Syed Ahmad Shahidkhel, deputy head of finance at the Ministry of Education, had been appointed as deputy minister of vice and virtue and Abdul Rahman Munir as head of religious affairs at MoD, he wrote.”
