JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Thirty-two more Afghan refugees have returned to the country after being freed from jails in Pakistan, police in eastern Nangarhar province said on Tuesday.

Torkham Interpol Police Chief Qari Ahmad said 32 Afghan refugees after being released from Pakistani prisons had returned to the country.

He said that most of the returnees were children who had been arrested under different pretexts.

These Afghan refugees are residents of Nangarhar, Kunar, Khost and Laghman provinces and after receiving aid from UNHCR and MoRR, they reunited with their families.

Earlier, Pakistan has freed 25 Afghan refugees from prisons before they returned to the country.
