3 died, 4 injured in Laghman wall-collapse incident

MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed and four others injured in a wall-collapse incident in Mehtarlam, the capital of eastern Laghman province.

Abdul Malik Niazai, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Sultan Ghazi Baba town on Tuesday night at around 12:00am.

He said three people, including husband, wife and daughter, lost their lives and four other children wounded in the overnight incident.

Niazai said the injured were evacuated to Mehtarlam hospital.
