5 killed, as many wounded in Balkh collision

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Five people have been killed and as many were injured as a result of traffic accident in northern Balkh province, police official said on Saturday.

In a statement, police headquarters said the accident took place when two cars collided in Hassan Ali village of Shulgari district on Friday.

It said five people lost their lives and as many others injured, who were transferred to Abu Ali Sina Balkhi hospital by security forces.

Last month, 36 traffic accidents left 29 people killed and wounded in Mazar-i-Sharif-Hairatan highway.
