Afghans bag 5 medals in South Asian Bodybuilding C’ship

KABUL (Pajhwok): Five Afghan bodybuilders have won two gold medals, as many silver and one bronze in the ongoing 14th South Asian Bodybuilding Championship in the Maldives.

The Afghanistan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (ABBFF) wrote on its Facebook page that Muslim Shah Faqiri and NasibullahAzimi won gold medals.

Faramarz Ekramzada and Wahidullah Sediqi bagged  silver medals while Shahid Sahim claimed a bronze medal on the first day of the contest.

The Maldives is hosting the South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship for the second consecutive year.

Athletes from 14 countries are participating in the event, including 11 from Afghanistan.
