Baradar visits Ghor to assess post-flood situation

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Deputy prime minister for economic affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar on Thursday afternoon visited western Ghor province to assess the post-flood situation and help the victims.

Ghor Information and Culture director Maulvi Abdul Hai Zaeem told Pajhwok Mullah Baradar visited the province to assess the situation and provide relief to the affected people.

“The purpose of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar’s trip was to assist the flood victims and talk to different sections of the people today.”

The deputy PM office in a press release that Baradar met local officials of Ghor province and assured them of necessary cooperation in reaching out to the victims and compensating the damages.
