Policemen dead in Uruzgan bombing

TIRINKOT (PAN): Two policemen were killed when an explosives-rigged motorcycle was detonated in central Uruzgan province on Saturday morning, an official said.

The explosion took place in the Darfeshan area on the outskirts of Tirinkot, the provincial capital, police spokesman Farid Aya told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said the incident happened when the security patrolling the area went to examine closely the motorbike. No insurgents group has claimed responsibility for the bombing so far.
