District chief killed along with guard

CHAGHCHARAN (PAN province, an official said on Saturday morning.

The explosion occurred on the outskirts of Chaghcharan, the provincial capital, on Friday night, hitting the car of the 3^rd municipal district chief, Akhtar Mohammad.

He was killed along with a bodyguard dead and three others were wounded in the attack, police chief, Col. Delawar Shah Delawar told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Dr. Juma Gul, director of the Ghor hospital, confirmed receiving three wounded individuals, two of them in critical condition.
