KABUL (Pajhwok): Four civilians were killed and more than 35 wounded in a powerful explosion in the sixth police district of central capital Kabul province on Sunday.
The incident took place in the Darul Aman locality close to Allauddin Square at 11:30am, Ministry of Interior spokesman Siddique Siddiqui said.
He added an International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) convoy was the apparent target of the suicide bombing. At least 20 others were wounded, he tweeted.
But Kabul police spokesman Hashmat Stanikzai put the toll from in the car bombing at four dead and more than 35 wounded.
He added two children and a woman were among the dead. One child and a woman were injured along with 34 others. They were taken to hospital.
