Zeeshan Ibrahimi, Afghanistan’s Commercial Counselor in the port city of Karachi, said on Saturday that the government of President Dr. Ashraf Ghani wanted to explore enhanced trade opportunities between the neighbours.
During a meeting with Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI) co-president Zubair Motiwala, Ibrahimi extended formal invitations on behalf of the government.
The Express Tribune quoted the diplomat as saying: “We invite Pakistani business delegations to discuss elimination of hurdles to trade and enhance bilateral ties between the two countries…”
