Woman killed, 13 wounded in Khost blast

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): A woman was killed and 13 others injured on Tuesday when a civilian vehicle hit a roadside bomb in southeastern Khost province, an official said.

The blast took place on a road between Bak and Zazai Maidan districts, confirmed the Bak district chief, Abdulhai Zazai.

He said the wounded were taken to hospital, but had no information about their condition.

Khost civil hospital official Dr. Abdul Majid Mangal said they had received nine wounded including a policeman.

No any group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
