TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Police claimed seizing 20 kilograms of heroin in northern Takhar province, officials said on Thursday.
Sunatullah Timor, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the contraband was being smuggled in a vehicle on from Badakhshan province to Taloqan.
The driver, he said, had also been detained and was under interrogation.
