JALABAD (Pajhwok): Twenty-one Islamic State (IS) militants, including Pakistani fighters, have been killed in US drone strikes in the Achine district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.
The drones targeted insurgent hideouts in Karkani locality on Tuesday night, Attaullah Khogyani, the governor‘s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News. Important members of the group, including some Pakistanis, were among the fatalities, he said.
