Addressing members of the youth parliament after hearing their complaints and demands, Abdullah said insecurity was the biggest challenge to resolving people’s problems.
He said recapturing of Kohistan district of Faryab province, parts of Laghman province and reopening of the Kunduz-Takhar highway for traffic were recent achievements of security forces.
Abdullah said Afghanistan faced a nationwide conflict that had affected all aspects of people’s lives. But the CEO called people’s support and coordination with security forces as important in beating the Taliban militants.
Abdullah said Afghan security forces were formed of the youth who played a vital role in defending their country and Islamic values.
He asked the youth parliament members to work for enlightening minds in their respective provinces and areas and prevent the youngsters from swelling Taliban’s ranks.
Abdullah said professional and skilled youth would be employed in government offices and efforts at providing higher education facilities to them were being made.
