JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The Taliban have killed a teacher and a student, whose bodies were found in the Batikot district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Sunday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Jalalabad Agriculture Jan and student Gulbadin had been kidnapped from Sapi area two days ago.
Their bodies were found in the area today, the gubernatorial spokesman said, adding Imam Jan had been serving at the Institute for around eight years.
The security situation has recently deteriorated in Nangarhar, with terrorist acts also surging in Jalalabad, the provincial capital.
