Taliban’s district finance chief among 4 held in Logar

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Four militants including Taliban’s finance chief for the Mohammad Agha district of central Logar province have been detained, an official said on Monday

Mohammad Saleem Saleh, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the National Directorate of security (NDS) personnel conducted a raid in Safid Sang area of the district and arrested the four Taliban.

He indentified the detainees as Mullah Sangin, Mullah Sharif, Hazrat Wali and Mullah Izzatullah.Some ammunition was also seized in the overnight raid by the intelligence agents.

Jamshed, a resident of the area, said Afghan forces raided on house in their village and held the four men.However, he did not provide more details.
