Fair elections to make democracy a success: Ghani

KABUL a success.

The president was talking to relatives of those killed in a terrorist attack on a mosque in Yaqubi district on people registering to vote. The president also talked to family members of a BBC reporter who was recently killed in Khost province.

The president said those killed in the mosque attack were the martyrs of democracy and said attacks on voter registration centers were attacks on the future of Afghanistan people.

“Elections are the clear difference between us and past regimes. The Afghans do not like to be ruled at force, so elections are the only option.”
