KABUL (Pajhwok): After his release from the government’s detention, illegal commander, Alipur in a letter on Tuesday said he was ready to appear for investigations and submit all his weapons.
The illegal commander is accused of looting, extortions, torture and murder cases. He was arrested by intelligence forces in Kabul two days ago but his detention sparked violent protests among Hazara people in parts of Kabul, Bamyan, Daikundi, Heart and Balkh provinces.
However, he was released following efforts of the second vice-president, Sarwar Danish, on Monday night on guarantee. But intelligence officials say the commander could not go out of Kabul until an ongoing investigation about his cases concluded.
In his commitment letter, Alipur said, “No human is clean of mistakes, if I committed any mistakes I want the government to forgive me,”
He said that he would submit and register all his weapons and ammunition to the government.
He also said that he was ready to serve under the framework of Afghan security forces if the government give him a chance.
“I will be in Kabul and whenever security officials ask, I will be present for being interrogated,” he added.
He said that he would avoid attending any gatherings and meetings until probes into his cases came to an end.
