<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> (Pajhwok): US Special Representative Zalmay Khalilzad Ambassador says efforts are ongoing to launch an inclusive intra-Afghan dialogue.</p>
<p>At a meeting with Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the visiting diplomat said the US had no secret deal with <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> in ongoing negotiations.</p>
<p>He discussed the outcome of Qatar talks between the US and Taliban with Abdullah, the chief executive’s office said in a statement.</p>
<p>US Ambassador John Bass and Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani were also present at the meeting, in which Khalilzad shared the outcome of the Doha meeting and his swing through the region.</p>
<p>During the visit, Khalilzad met President Ashraf Ghani’s Chief of Staff Abdul Salam Rahimi and his special envoy Umer Daudzai.</p>
<p>“We discussed the urgency of making progress on intra-Afghan dialogue,” Khalilzad tweeted. Intra-Afghan talks, ceasefire and a peace deal are among the main components of Qatar talks.</p>
<p>Khalilzad also met renowned scholar and jihadi leader Abdul Rab Rassool Sayyaf. The two sides reportedly held talks on the peace process.</p>
<p>America’s chief negotiator wrote he had held productive talks with Abdullah and Foreign Minister Rabbani. "We discussed how the international community can best support an Afghan-led, Afghan-owned" peace process.</p>
