KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday decreed the appointment of three new deputy National Security Council (NSC) advisors, a statement said.
A statement from the NSC received by Pajhwok Afghan News said the three new deputies were appointed based on the NSC recommendation.
It added Wali Manawar was appointed as strategic communication deputy replacing Sayed Anwar Sadat and Mohammad Hamid Tahmasi as deputy commander of chief replacing Lt. Gen. Yaseen Zia.
Shahzadah Akbar was appointed as deputy of peace and protection of civilians on the newly created post.
