Muslimyar leads Senate team to Iran

KABUL, led by Chairman Abdul Hadi Muslimyar, on Saturday left Kabul for Iran.

A statement from the upper house said the parliamentary delegation would meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and other senior officials.

Strengthening of parliamentary ties, role of neighbours in Afghan peace process, expansion of bilateral trade, problems of Afghan refugees and other important topics would be discussed during the meetings.
