KABUL's spin maestro Rashid Khan and India’s Yuzvendra Chahal have picked a combined team consisted of cricketers from the two countries.
From Afghanistan, only three players – Rashid Khan, Rahmat Shah and Mujeeb Ur Rahman are part of the combined XI, a cricket website reported on Wednesday.
Ex-Indian skipper MS Dhoni has been chosen as the wicket-keeper at number five by Chahal and Khan, who interacted via a Live Instagram session.
According to Sportskeeda, the leg-spinners have chosen Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan as openers. Indian captain Virat Kohli has been picked at his usual number three spot.
Afghanistan’s all-rounder Rahmat Shah has been given the number four spot, with India's KL Rahul clinching the number five spot, followed by Dhoni.
Hardik Pandya comes in ay No 6 while Rashid Khan turns himself up as an all-rounder. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Mujeeb Ur Rahman complete a fearsome bowling line-up.
