Abdullah to send list of Cabinet picks to Ghani soon

KABUL (Pajhwok): High Reconciliation Council (HRC) chairman Abdullah Abdullah has said the names of his Cabinet picks will be soon sent to President Ashraf Ghani in order to bring the culture of acting officials to an end.

Abdullah’s remark comes after Wolesi Jirga speaker Mir Rahman Rahmani asked him to send the list of his Cabinet choices to the president so they were referred to the lower house for a trust vote.

The two dignitaries met on Sunday and discussed several issues. Abdullah thanked Rahmani for the Wolesi Jirga support during the political crisis and briefed the speaker about recent developments and matters concerning the peace process.
