Centuries-old statue found in Kunduz

KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): An ancient statue has been found in northern Kunduz province, sources said on Tuesday.

A security source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News that drug addicts found the statue in Bala-Hisar area two days ago.

He said police had received the statue from the addicts and it would be handed over to the department of culture and information through the governor.

On the other hand, the Department of Culture and Information refused to comment about the statue.

The skillfully made statue looks like a picture.
