Hundreds of military officers graduate in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): More than a thousand security officers and soldiers on Monday graduated from the Joint Military Training Headquarters in capital Kabul.

Col. Gen. Iqbal Naderi, deputy defense minister, told the graduation ceremony that the fresh graduates were trained in using different types of weapons and management of military teams in the center.

Addressing the graduates, he said, “Savagery and ignorance of the enemies of the Afghan people are obvious to all and you should understand that you have received military training to fight against these enemies.”

“It is a matter of pride that we again celebrate graduation of officers and soldiers, and courageous sons of this land are ready to defend their country after receiving training,” he added.

The graduates said they would not hesitate from giving any sacrifice in the fight against insurgents and defending the motherland.
