KABUL (Pajhwok): Former Balkh Governor Atta Mohammad Noor has stressed over involving senior politicians of the country in decision making issues and termed national consensus key for the success of peace process.
Noor, who also serve as the Executive Head of the Jamiat-e-Islami Afghanistan said Daesh was eliminated in Afghanistan and no such group existed in the country now.
Addressing during the 13th death anniversary of Mustafa Kazemi, he said the government was in the hand of people who have no public support.

Noor said the Taliban were making exaggeration and added the people of Afghanistan had no other option but to get together and show to the Taliban that they could still held the power to defend the national values.
He said the people of Afghanistan were committed to a real peace and called on the Taliban to stop the bloodshed otherwise people would rise against them. “If you want peace, we also want peace this cannot happen that you continue violence and we just become the viewers,” he said.
