AAF airstrike hits undetonated car bomb in Maidan Wardak

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan Air Forces (AAF) has hit and destroyed a car bomb-in-waiting in central Maidan Wardak province, Ministry of Defence said on Monday.

In a statement, MoD said the Taliban wanted to attack civilians in Badam area of Nerkh district but the explosives-packed vehicle was targeted and destroyed by AAF.

Taliban have made no comment in this regard.
