Weapons seller arrested in Parwan

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The Security Forces Coordination Center in central Parwan province on Tuesday said an individual had been arrested over with selling weapons and ammunition including American M16 machinegun.

Mohammad Hamed Niazi, chief of the coordination center in Parwan, identified the detainee as Ramin, a resident of Qalaye Kohna village of Sayedkhil district.

He said Ramin was arrested in Qalaye Kohna area with 1600 rounds of American M-16 machinegun, four grenades, a pistol and one AK-47 assault rifle.

During investigation, Ramin confessed being a weapon seller. Niazai said the detainee was moved to the provincial capital for further investigation.
