Residents of Mamla area where the clinic is under construction say that the land for the center was donated by a local dweller and its surrounding wall was built by the Youth Association but the government is yet construct its building.
Local people and clinic personnel say they face problems during raining seasons and use tents as rooms and bear muddy situation in rainfalls.
The clinic was previously run in a house against rent but it was shifted to its current place following efforts of local residents.
Torpekai, a patient who visited the clinic, said there were no facilities in the center for female visitors.
“We want a good hospital that can provide services to men and women and is equipped with an ambulance because women in villages face hardships when they get sick,” she said.
Another woman visitor, who wished to go unnamed, said that the clinic needed a building as its services were always affected by rainfalls.
Dr. Abdul Halim, director of the clinic, also complained about the mentioned problems and demanded the government resolve them.
