KABUL (Pajhwok): After a three-week break, the Afghan government and Taliban have restarted peace negotiations in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
In the second round of the intra-Afghan dialogue, which resumed on Wednesday evening and, the negotiators would work on the agenda on Saturday, Taliban spokesman Mohammad Naeem tweeted.
Before the break, both sides exchanged proposals on the agenda. Last month, they agreed on procedural rules for the parleys that began on Sept. 12.
The government team has handed the Taliban a 28-article draft agenda. Similarly, the Taliban have given their interlocutors a 21-point draft agenda.
