Man kills father, uncle-in-law in Herat

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A man killed his father and uncle -in-law in Adraskan district of western Herat province last night, an official said on Thursday.

Abdul Ali Faqriyar, Adraskan district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accused Sheikh Ahmad killed his father and then his uncle-in-law in the village of Mir Ali on Wednesday night.

He said the accused had fled and police had launched an investigation to apprehend him.

Faqiryar said the man’s uncle in law wan an influential person of Qomz in Mirullah village of Adraskan district.

The motive for the incident was not yet known.
