KABUL (Pajhwok): As many as 30 insurgents, including Al-Qaeda terrorists, have been killed during operations in central Kapisa province, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Monday.
At least six militants were wounded in the offensives conducted in the Afghaniavalley of Nijrab district on Sunday night, a statement from the ministry said.
Afghan National Army commandos and the Afghan Air Force also took part in the operations, in which 14 Taliban and 16 Pakistani members of Al-Qaeda were killed.
Hajiyan, Khalifagan, ZakirkhelKochak and Badakhel villages of the valley were purged of terrorists as a result of the operations, the ministry added.
