KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): The Kandahar City bypass road which is constructed at the cost of over 49.5 million afs has been inaugurated.
Kandahar Governor Rohullah Khanzada, Mayor Eng. Rafiullah and some businessmen participated in the inauguration ceremony. The project was completed in six month period and funds are provided by the World Bank CIP.
Mayor Eng. Rafiullah said that people and drivers facing several problems due to the dilapidated condition of the road.
Governor Khanzada said government and the provincial authorities have been striving to implement vital uplift projects for the people.
He said public welfare projects are built on public fund so people must ensure its protection.
He warned individual identified as responsible for the destruction of the roads would be dealt according to the law.
