Wazikhwa district police chief killed in Taliban attack

SHARAN (Pajhwok): Police chief of Wazikhwa district in south-eastern Paktika province has been killed in the Taliban attack, an official said on Monday.

Police spokesperson Shah Mahmood Aryan told Pajhwok Afghan News Lt. Mohammad Rahim Abaseen was killed in the Taliban attack on Sunday night.

Ghani Khan, the resident of locality, said the Taliban killed Wazikhwa district police chief and injured his two security guards.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the killing of Wazikhwa district police chief.
