JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Five people, including four policemen and a civilian, have been wounded as a result of a blast in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar, officials said on Monday.
Farid Khan, spokesman for Nangarhar police, told Pajhwok Afghan News a police vehicle came under attack in the Kabul Ada area of Jalalabad.
He added two policemen were wounded in the incident.
But Gulzada Sangar, spokesman for Jalalabad Zonal Hospital, said four police and a civilian had been evacuated to hospital. The wounded are said to be in stable condition.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the bomb attack in the fifth police district.
