KABUL (Pajhwok): The Taliban are acting against its commitment by increasing violence and not cutting ties with regional and international terrorist networks, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Wednesday.
The statement said terrorist enjoyed safe havens, support from regional terrorist networks and staged attacks on Afghanistan. ‘
The main demand of Afghan government in the past two decades from Pakistan has been to cut their supply lines of movement and logistic support.
It added Afghan government was committed to peaceful settlement of the crisis and would adhere to its commitment in this regard.
The MoFA statement comes in response to Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah MahmoodQureshi’s view in which he said that his country was not responsible for the failure of the Afghan peace process.
