KABUL (Pajhwok): European Union (EU) has delivered 25 tonnes of life-saving medical supplies to Afghanistan, EU diplomat said on Wednesday.
Former EU Envoy to Afghanistan Roland Kobia on his twitter handler wrote: “The #EU delivers Humanitarian Aid across the world for all populations in need. The 2nd Air Bridge just arrived in #Afghanistan delivering 25 tonnes of life-saving medical supplies.
Earlier, EU and some other nations expressed concerns over deteriorating health situation of people in Afghanistan after the Taliban took control of the country.
The World Health Organsation also warned that after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan around 2,000 clinics closed.
