KABUL (Pajhwok): Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin have discussed matters related to Afghanistan, the Foreign Ministry in Moscow said on Saturday.
The two sides agreed to strengthen coordination on issues regarding the war-devastated country, the ministry said in a statement.
In a phone call with Muhriddin, Lavrov stressed that decisions taken at the recent Moscow meeting should be implemented with complete coordination.
During the Moscow huddle, participants agreed on the need for an inclusive government in Afghanistan.
Iran also hosted a conference on Afghanistan last Wednesday. It was attended by the countries neighbouring Afghanistan.
