Child killed in blast from explosive remnants

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): One child has been killed and another injured as a result of a blast from explosive remnants in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Friday.

The blast happened in the Gul Alam Kala locality on Thursday, District Chief Mufti Haris said.

He added the blast caused explosive remnants in the areas when these children tried to play with them.

Hospital sources also confirmed one injured was brought to the hospital from the site of the blast.
